year as a senior, Dan Langhi not only emerged as Vanderbilt's team leader and
one of the premier talents in the Southeastern Conference, he developed into a
legitimate NBA prospect. Langhi
capped a successful season by being named the 2000 SEC Player of the Year and
was one of 22 finalists for the Wooden Award. In
addition, Langhi was the first Vanderbilt player since TSHF inductee Clyde Lee
to lead the SEC in scoring and finished the year as the nation's ninth leading
scorer with a 22.2 ppg. During the 1999-2000 season, Langhi scored 20 plus points
in 19 of 29 games. |
